私たちは、最新のデジタコ・ドラレコシステムを全車両に導入しています。このシステムの特徴は、運転の「質」を可視化できる点です。例えば、車線変更時には3秒以上前のウインカー表示が必要で、これを守れないと減点対象となります。厳しい基準に思えるかもしれませんが、これこそが安全運転の基本だと考えています。

室内カメラと外向きカメラを連動させることで、運転中の様々な状況をリアルタイムで把握しています。例えば急ブレーキが発生した場合、何時にどこで誰が急ブレーキをしたのか、その時の状況を映像と音声で即座に確認できます。これにより、ドライバーの判断が適切だったのか、または改善の余地があるのかを、客観的に評価することが可能になりました。
独自の評価システム
100点満点への挑戦
評価システムは100点満点からの減点方式を採用しています。急加速、急減速、急な右左折、急ハンドル、長時間運転などが減点対象です。「波状運転」と呼ばれる、不適切な車間距離をアクセルワークだけで保つような運転も減点項目としています。実は100点を取ることは不可能で、90点以上でも相当な安全意識が必要です。早紀NESSのドライバーはほぼ毎日90点以上をキープしてくれています。
柔軟な評価基準
単純な減点だけでなく、状況に応じた加点も行っています。例えば、黄信号で適切に停止した場合は加点対象としています。これは、無理な進入を防ぎ、安全な判断を促すためです。一日の運行が終わると点数データが自動的に送信され、90点未満の場合は映像を確認の上、必要な指導を行います。

週間ランキングの活用
早紀NESSでは、全体ランキングと新人ドライバーのランキングを1週間単位で集計し、掲示しています。これは単なる競争ではなく、チーム全体のレベルアップを目指す取り組みです。高得点は安全運転の証であると同時に燃費の向上やタイヤの摩耗低減、整備費用の削減にもつながっています。さらに、年間で最も高い平均点を記録したドライバーには特別手当を支給し、継続的な安全運転へのモチベーション維持を図っています。
学びの共有
運転中に発生した急ブレーキなどの状況は、すべて映像で確認・分析しています。ドライバー側に改善点がある場合は丁寧な指導を行い、他車両による危険な状況だった場合は「ヒヤリハット」事例として点呼場で映像を共有します。実際の映像を使うことで、より具体的な学びが得られ、同様の状況における危険予知能力の向上にもつながっています。
